Also, please don’t mistake people criticizing makeup as an industry with a personal affront to you wearing makeup. There’s a huge difference between “Women should not have to feel obligated to wear makeup” and “Women are ugly if they wear makeup” (the second one being both untrue and a personal attack rather than a criticism of the exploitative nature of the cosmetic industry). Don’t conflate the two.
