Hhhh just a heads up for people following me for the Voltron S8 post, I’m glad to have you but I want to let you know that:
a) Deltarune, especially Seam and Jevil, are still my main fixation at the moment
b) My fandom posts are kind of sporadic and are based entirely on my current mood. It’ll all be tagged but I can’t promise consistent Voltron content.
I just wanted to give y’all a heads up so you know what to expect. You can choose to keep following or unfollow based on this info, it’s up to you but just wanted y’all to know :3
I’ve seen a headcanon going around that Noelle from Deltarune is trans, and while I fully support that headcanon, I would like to offer you the headcanon that Noelle’s dad Rudy Holiday is a trans male. See, here’s the thing:
We know that Rudy and Noelle are monsters based off of bovids, specifically caribou. Both female and male caribou grow antlers in Spring, but male caribou usually shed theirs in November or December after the mating season has ended (”Animal Facts: Caribou”).
But the main indicator to support my headcanon is the size and shape of Rudy’s antlers. Here is an image that displays the differences between male (right) and female (left) caribou antlers (source):
The females have smaller antlers, and usually the tips are more rounded. The male caribou normally have much larger antlers with sharper ends.
Here’s another image of a female caribou (source):
Now look and compare Noelle’s horns with Rudy’s:
They are pretty much the exact same size, and both are short and rounded, so that’s why I support the headcanon that Rudolph “Rudy” Holiday is trans. Of course, since we don’t have a scale of other sizes we don’t know how big the horns actually are, but the fact that they’re the same size and shape gives hints that one or the other is transgender. Thanks for your time!
when you see some cool art but realize it’s re uploaded and that the artist isnt credited
Can someone explain how to leave the link in the post. Like the word “artist” is bolded and it takes you to the blog? The process is kinda confusing to me.
Sure thing! On tumblr, what you could do is:
1. Copy the URL from the original source (e.g. the deviantart, instagram, twitter, etc. page)
2. When you make the post, type your caption and highlight the word you want the link on.
3. After highlighting, it should bring up a list of options, including bolding, italicizing, etc. Click the one that looks like this:
4. Paste the copied URL into the box that pops up and click the enter button.
Warning signs of depression (generally) in order of appearance
Oh no.
well shit
Also guilt, shame, and self-loathing! You find yourself unable to do the things you want or even the things you need to do and you feel like a terrible person, it’s real fun
I partially disagree only because this seems like it’s trying to put it in an order, when in reality all of it happens all of the time and the order in which it happens varies. And it’s okay if you don’t experience all of these, your depression still exists and deserves to be treated as just as real as those who have all of these symptoms.
Quick info: “Atashi” is a pronouns mainly used by female, though man can use it but it’s very rare and usually used by men who act girly. Please correct me if i’m wrong
Just a little thing i found that really interesting. I always thought that Seam as man because of their name. And yeah Seam’s japanese name is Nui, from Nuigurumi that means Plush Doll.
Atashi also used to be used as a gender neutral term (i.e. both men and women would regularly use it to refer to themselves), but it further into the past, so it could either represent age or gender. Here is what the wiki says:
