Here’s the thing: I’m normally not a stickler at all when it comes to other people’s grammar. But the moment you try to insult someone else’s grammar (and I’m not talking about in a joking way, like when you misspell something in the group chat and everyone spams the word), your grammar becomes free game to be picked apart. I’m not going to hear you call someone else’s grammar horrible in the same sentence that you make similar or worse mistakes. Just leave other people’s grammar alone unless they genuinely ask for your help or critique, okay?

Asdffsvghh, I didn’t even see this until now. Lmao, I’m a literal linguist and I made that post about my translation undergrad finals. So I know pretty much all there is to know about grammar in not just one but TWO languages. And yes, I made that run-on sentence on purpose because a) that’s how the meme works and b) because in Tumblr-English run-on sentences are used to express rhetorical speech. And even if I hadn’t made that run-on sentence on purpose I wouldn’t care, because I spend all day phrasing complicated text in a grammatically correct manner, and in my free time I write however the fuck I want.
And jokes on them, because I absolutely aced those finals, graduated top of my class AND received an award. And while my blog might not be Master’s thesis, I’ll have you know that I wrote one of those as well – about LANGUAGE – and received a very good grade for that, too.

Such Apathy seizes them by the throat, deletion of numbers and letters would result in destroying or warping their entire existence. Could one really blame them for falling into madness?

I’m about 1,400 words into this fanfic so far but I think I’m going to call it a night and go to bed earlier. My sleep schedule has been whacked up for the past couple months, and I’m actually tired at 11 pm for once instead of 5 am! So goodnight/good day to everyone!
